Nondeploying wars
-----------------
Key: MNG-2853
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-2853
Project: Maven 2
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: General
Affects Versions: 2.0.5
Environment: all
Reporter: Rafal Rusin
It would be great to add pissibility to not deploy specified files to remote
repository. For example, if you are building ear application, which consists of
several wars, when you deploy stuff, those wars are deployed unnecesarily. And
sometimes they consume a lot of space, especially when you do subsequent
releases.
So in pom, there should be something like <deployment>local | any</deployment>
at the top level.
I can add a support for this if you want.
Regards
