Clifton Craig commented on ARCHETYPE-40: ---------------------------------------- Where was it applied? Where can I find the fixed version? I just tried running the portlet archetype again this morning and I got the same error. I looked on the repo at: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/archetypes/maven-archetype-portlet/ and none of the files there have been updated since last year. Am I pointing to the wrong repo or doing something else wrong? > Duplicate code in portlet archetype > ----------------------------------- > > Key: ARCHETYPE-40 > URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/ARCHETYPE-40 > Project: Maven Archetype > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Archetypes > Affects Versions: 1.0-alpha-4 > Reporter: Craig Doremus > Assignee: Brett Porter > Fix For: 1.0 > > Attachments: maven-archetype-portlet-1.0-alpha-4.jar, > maven-archetype-portlet-1.0.jar, maven-archetype-portlet.patch > > > The maven portlet archetype (maven-archetype-portlet under > maven-archetype-bundles) in source control contains duplicate code in all > files except the root pom.xml. The code for a file appears to be copied into > the file multiple times in every source file in each directory, rendering the > archetype to be unusable. > The fix is pretty evident when one looks at the source code. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
