Unable to delete the pre-configured example network proxy

Archiva comes pre-configured with a network proxy.
When I delete it in the web UI, it comes back the next time I start Archiva.
It does not get removed from ~/.m2/archiva.xml.
Workaround: stop Archiva and edit ~/.m2/archiva.xml, then restart
