Unless junit decide to change their packaging strategy, I would opt to keep
junit artifact as is and create a separate artifact, junit-dep, in which the
junit jar is stripped of its hamcrest dependencies, and has a transitive
dependency on hamcrest-1.1 artifacts.
Regardless though of future junit decisions, being that junit 4.4 has been
released, I would think this is only viable option ATM.
