The introduction page of the "Maven surefire report plugin" looks very
outdated. It still lists a roadmap to the initial 3.0.0 release of the plugin,
even that the current released version is already 3.5.1

As I didn't find a JIRA project for the "surefire report plugin" (only for
"surefire" and "project-report-plugin") I decided to post it here.
