For AIX, it would help to know whether forcing a different JLine terminal provider changes the failure mode, for example disabling the FFM path or using a fallback terminal implementation. The warning suggests native `openpty` discovery is failing before Maven gets to useful work. Capturing `java --version`, the JLine version bundled in that Maven snapshot, and any successful fallback flags would make this easier to route upstream if needed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
