Fixed on two levels: 1. **Workaround** (PR #500, merged 2026-08-04): `TestResourcesMojo` was given its own `skip` field so configuration always hits the right mojo, regardless of Maven core behaviour. 2. **Root cause** (Maven core): `EnhancedCompositeBeanHelper.buildFieldCache()` used `put()` instead of `putIfAbsent()`, so the parent-class `ResourcesMojo.skip` was overwriting the child-class `TestResourcesMojo.skip`. Fixed in apache/maven#12626 and shipped in **Maven 4.0.0-rc-7**. Closing as fixed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
