Backport of #13331 to `maven-4.0.x`. The cherry-pick conflicted due to the iterative parent-traversal refactor from #13104 not having been backported to `maven-4.0.x` — master uses `ParentModelFrame`/`ParentModelPhase`, while 4.0.x still uses the direct `doReadAsParentModel` method. The fix was applied manually to the equivalent call site. Changes: - `DefaultProfileActivationContext.start(Map)`: new overload that overrides model properties while preserving child's basedir/packaging/artifactId for file-exists checks - `replayRecordIntoContext(…, boolean includeModelProperties)`: new overload to exclude parent-derived property lookups from the child's cache key - `doReadAsParentModel`: activates parent profiles in a fresh context seeded with the parent's own properties - Unit test (`DefaultModelBuilderTest`) and core IT (`MavenITmng8710`) ported -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
