I could not reproduce this on Maven 3.9.16 or on current master (4.1.0-SNAPSHOT). With a repository `http://insecure.example.invalid/repo` in the POM and a mirror with `mirrorOf` set to that repository id defined in a user settings file (`-s`), Maven uses the mirror, and the only error is the network one because the host does not exist. There is no `Blocked mirror` message. Putting the same mirror in a global settings file (`-gs`) behaves the same, and without any mirror the repository is blocked by `maven-default-http-blocker` as expected. This was reported against 3.9.3, so it may have been fixed since. If someone still sees it, a minimal settings file and POM would help. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
