@gnodet I can work on this. I reproduced it on Maven 3.10.0 and 4.0.0-rc5: an unavailable direct plugin dependency blocks execution, and Maven rejects `scope=none`. so is allowing `scope=none` without requiring a version the right direction? let me know if this direction looks good to proceed or have any suggestion. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
