Adds a `cache-jdk` input, default `false`, to `maven-verify.yml`. Toolchain JDKs are downloaded again unless a repository sets `cache-jdk: true`. Four days after JDK caching was enabled, JDK entries took 62 GB of the 162 GB of caches across `apache/maven*`, and five repositories sat at the 10 GB budget. Each entry is one extracted JDK, about 175–200 MB per OS, version and distribution, so a repository testing several distributions saves around 10 GB per default-branch build: `maven-javadoc-plugin` saved 41 JDK entries in one push. Eviction then takes the Maven repository cache, which saves more time. Measured on the same default-branch matrix cells before and after JDK caching (October 6–18): the JDK setup steps took a median 6 s less on Linux, 2 s less on Windows and 1 s less on macOS. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
