`pr-check.yml` is intentionally only on the default branch: a `workflow_run` workflow always runs from the default branch, so `pr-check.yml` on master also handles PRs opened against `maven-compiler-plugin-4.x`. A copy on this branch would never be triggered. apache/maven-gh-actions-shared#334 exists (an open issue, "Migrate pull_request_target to workflow_run"). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
