p01-superpom-minimal, p19-cache-lifecycle and mbuildcache-463 ran their tests on JUnit 4. The other fixtures keep `junit:junit` as a coordinate: the invalidation tests change its version. hamcrest-core still arrives through wiremock; it is not JUnit.
