Many Markdown pages in the Maven sites open code blocks with ```` ```unknown ````, most likely left by the APT to Markdown conversion. Doxia renders that as `class="language-unknown"`, which tells a highlighter nothing: the blocks stay unhighlighted, or are guessed, and readers lose the hint of what the snippet is (POM fragment, shell command, console output). This sweep gives each block its real language and fixes what turns up on the way: snippets that no longer match the current plugin or Maven behaviour, inconsistent examples, and descriptions that contradict the code. Language names follow highlight.js, so they work with the skin: `xml`, `java`, `bash` (commands), `shell` (a console session with prompts and output), `properties`, `json`, `yaml`, `groovy`, `kotlin`, `javascript`, `css`, `ini`, `diff`. Anything without a grammar (APT, Velocity, plain output, Doxia's own markup) becomes `text`. One PR per repository, each linked here. Language changes and content corrections are separate commits, so the mechanical part can be reviewed at a glance.
