### New feature, improvement proposal In the PR #2238 (first item) we fixed the "central-snapshots" fallback to "central" (as it was removing "-snapshots" tail by mistake), and is now checks for `$id-sha1` form using regex. And this works, as repository keys like `nid_hurl` uses SHA1, but would stop working if anything else is being used. So, tinker to: * document this, and do nothing about it (the purpose of this fallback is 3.9 - 3.10 -- resolver 1 to resolver 2 transition) * maybe formalize it, add some API for repository key to say "fallback key"? * something else? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
