Developer activity can't resolve developer name using clearcase SCM

The change log changelog.xml file generated when using clearcase as an SCM
provider includes an additional space after the user id. This prevents the
matching of userid to pom's developer's id. I checked the scm:changelog output
and it does not include a space so it seems that this is a changelog issue.
I have attached a sample changelog.xml.
