Hi all,
I would be great if someone could add this FAQ entry or similar to educate
users to setup Maven 2 on Windows with a Norton Internet Security Firewall. You
simply need to allow OUTBOUND UDP Communication for java.exe in the JDK that
you use with Maven 2, and everything works fine. If you did not do this, you
will simply not be able to do anything with Maven 2 as the system is unable to
download the Maven 2 plugins.
