Hello,
I had the same problem and i resolved it was fixed this line in a pom.xml of
parent project.
<connection>scm:svn:svn://repo/trunk/parent</connection>
<developerConnection>scm:svn:svn://repo/trunk/parent</developerConnection>
and is not necessary to fixed a tag connectionUrl in configuration of
maven-release-plugin.
It work correctly whith the last version =>2.3.2.
