Yes you need to change your pom file which solves undiscovered problems which
are now becoming visible with the newer version. This exception is only a
symptom for not correctly maintained pom files (missing some extensions which
should not be filtered).
So the final question: If we like to solve this issue we have to go to the old
wrong behaviour ? Really?
