Effectively, deleting all the profiles (actually, uninstalling 4.0.1, deleting all the AppData Directories belonging to OpenOffice, cleaning up the register for all the OpenOffice keys with CCleaner) and re-installing 4.0.0 (fortunately I still had the downloaded installer) took me back to the previous condition: all my calc files are now perfect, I have my charts and I have not completely lost all my job (actually at least two hours for this problem). I am very sorry, and you can consider mine an "invalid bug report". I told you how I solved my problem (and I am very sorry, I cannot make all the things you would want to have this being a "valid" report). You can just skip to consider it, but be warned that 4.0.1. can make weird things at least on some installations. Be prepared to other complaints, I fear.
