The current actions/stale workflow does not remove the {{stale}} label when a
PR is manually closed, merged, or closed by the workflow itself. Since
actions/stale doesn’t provide a way to clean up labels in these cases, we would
need a separate scheduled workflow to remove the stale label from PRs that are
already closed or merged.
Feel free to share your thoughts on this.
