Sergey Soldatov commented on RATIS-317: --------------------------------------- [~vrodionov] my point is whether we really need that information (log name and type in the message) and why we can't just use the built-in mechanism. For multiple logs, I would suggest considering the case RatisGroup per log. Ratis already supports multiple groups per server (so we don't need to instantiate a new server instance for each state machine and groups may have different peers located on different servers). Each group would have its own storage and state machine (and the footprint for this stuff is small enough and mostly depends on the segment cache configuration) > Log service state machine > ------------------------- > > Key: RATIS-317 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RATIS-317 > Project: Ratis > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: Vladimir Rodionov > Assignee: Vladimir Rodionov > Priority: Major > Attachments: RATIS-317-v1.patch, RATIS-317-v2.patch, > RATIS-317-v3.patch > > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005)
