Shawn Heisey commented on SOLR-8803:
------------------------------------

I tested the crash functionality by starting Solr on Linux with a 32m heap.  It
worked the way I expected it to.

All my windows PCs are dead at the moment, I would like to make sure this works
for windows as well.

> Solr on windows does not currently have a script to kill the process on OOM
> errors.
> The idea is to write a batch script that works like the OOM kill script for
> Linux and kills the solr process on OOM errors while creating an OOM log file
> like the one on Linux systems.
