Can you please review this ticket and see if there is any possibility to
support httpclient 5.x through solr 8.x or 9.x
Currently we are having issues with the integration with solr since our code is
migrated to httpclient 5.x due to dependency with latest jersey client so now
we cannot accommodate solr integration unless we use both 4.x and 5.x of http
components which will be a maintenance overhead in the long run.
Please let us know your suggestions ?
Note : We use apache-solr-solrj.jar & apache-solr-cell.jar for solr API
integration.
