Hi. Since httpcomponents is deprecated in solr and being removed in 10.0 later
this year I don't think you'll find much energy behind this task. Especially
since there are workarounds.
Have you considered trying to exclude httpcomponents from your solrj
depdendency, and instead use Solr's Jetty-based client (Http2SolrClient)?
