Yea, include source tarball generation in the release guide. We'll have no need to invovle the ASF incubator, the PMC is handling the incubation of MCP, not the incubator. As part of the PMC handling of the incubation we need to do an IP clearance, see my unanswered question on the dev-list thread `[VOTE] Release Solr MCP 1.0.0` on June 4: > Final question: This code donation was developed outside ASF and brought in as a complete code grant.
