Amrit Sarkar commented on SOLR-11994:
-------------------------------------
I've opened SOLR-18571 as the umbrella for this work, per the [dev@
thread|https://lists.apache.org/thread/t7mft9dbntgtp8pjfh3zvomxh8zdobtd]. This
issue now covers the first step only:
* A {{SearchRequestListener}} interface and {{SearchRequestInfo}} record in
core.
* {{SearchHandler.handleRequest}} calls registered listeners after the request
ends, on the coordinator only, skipping {{/get}}.
* {{CoreContainer}} holds the listener list, empty by default. No behavior
change when nothing is registered.
The API this issue asked for comes in the sub-tasks of SOLR-18571.

> Solr allows you to log slow queries but there should be an API to expose this
> information both on a per-core level and per collection.
