Could you give it a try and let me know if, for example, you can launch
instances in {{us-east-1}}?
When I try to launch instances in the {{cn-north-1}} region, I get errors that
my AWS credentials do not have permission. I have read that the {{cn-north-1}}
region needs special handling, but I can't find any clear AWS documentation on
the matter.
