Rebased patch to apply after some recent commits. No other changes from the 0.5
patch.
Looked at creating a method to accept a custom edge - that is possible, but I'm
deferring it to a separate jira in the interest of getting this one in.
[~bikassaha] - could you please open a jira for what you had asked for ?
(Assuming something like createDefaultCustomEdge(EdgeManagerDescriptor
descriptor))
