Position: Cognos Developer

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 7+ Months

Rate: $48/hr BEST RATE

 

 

Only local to TX

 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

 

      Years
     Skills/Experience
     
      4+
     Experience in analysis and development 
     
      2
     Experience with Cognos tools 
     
      2
     Experience with design and implementation of Cognos 8 analysis 
applications/reports (Report Studio 8, Framework Manager 8, Power Cube, 
Transformer 
     
      2
     Knowledge of Cognos report development, Cognos Connection, Cognos SQL 
generation 
     
      2
     Complete understanding of data warehouse architecture, star schemas and 
snowflakes 
     
      2
     Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting 
     
      2
     Experience with BI tools 
     
      2
     Experience with Cognos complex report development 
     
      2
     Understanding of and experience with Accessibility issues (Section 508/ADA 
& TAC 206.50) 
     
      2
     Experience with Cognos cube design and development and MDX 
     


 

 

Preferences: 

 

      Years
     Skills/Experience
     
      1+
     Knowledge of and/or experience with education data preferred. 
     
       
     BS degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering 
or a related field preferred.
