Hands on working experience of at least 5-7 years experience working with IBM Datastage and Quality Stage, Data profiling tools like Information Analyzer and/or other ETL tools Necessary Skills : • Experience in architecture and design of the ETL environment using Datastage. • Experience in creating Technical Design & Implementing ELT/ETL solution for multi-terabyte Data Warehouse and understand its impacts. • Provide guidance to the development team and recommendations to optimize the data extraction and loading using Datastage. • Strong working knowledge of Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and/or other large RDBMS. • Good understanding of design considerations for high volume transaction systems. • Good communication skills (Verbal + Written) and convincing skills to various stakeholders. Desired Skills • Experience in Data Modeling, Database Performance Tuning Roles & Responsibilities : • Design the system components for the extract/transform or conversion of data from source systems to the target application • Design system components which reconcile and audit the results of the extract/transform or conversion of data from source systems to the target application • Design ETL frameworks and highly re-usable components within the constraints of the infrastructure architecture • Present solutions to various stakeholders Generic Managerial Skills : • Good Customer communication • Able to lead a team of 7-8 members.
