Position : *Business Intelligence Architect* Location:* Gainesville, FL* Duration: *4-6 Weeks or longer* *Description :* The Business Intelligence (BI) Architect is responsible for building and implementing end to end BI solutions for our clients. The right individual will possess experience in all stages of BI project work. The BI Architect should have a firm grasp of BI/DW implementation methodologies and will have had in-depth experience with enterprise BI tools, specifically the Oracle Stack (OBIEE, OWB, ODI, etc.). Having experience of delivering BI-DW solutions for Insurance clients will be a big plus. To qualify for our BI Architect position, you should possess the following: *Consulting Skills:* Skills required include data gathering / research and analytical abilities so as to develop insightful conclusions and generate solutions to address end user needs (especially for insurance clients). One must also be able to logically structure and build written documents with clear focus and content. In addition, one must be able to effectively prepare and deliver information and ideas through verbal communication (meetings and presentations). • Establish Data Warehouse and BI standards for technology solutions and analytical applications • Technology / tools evaluation & recommendation • Review of existing DW Architecture • Collaborate with business and technology departments to define deliverables and design solutions • Create written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations • Direct quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test plans and managing the execution of testing • Support the creation of sales pursuit materials and other business development activities *Technical Skills:* The BI architect must understand and have expertise in the various technologies needed to implement BI solutions. Must have experience with leading BI software packages, specifically Oracle(OBIEE, OWB, ODI, etc.), but exposure to other vendors is a plus (Informatica, Pentaho, SAP Business Objects, etc.). The Architect should have expertise in the following areas: • Relational Database and Query Language • Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) / Data transformation • Data Warehouse / Solution Design • Dimensional Modeling (Kimball Methodology) • Analytics / OLAP Cube Development • Report Development • General experience working with Oracle administration (Security, Schemas, etc) Thanks !!
