*Position : *Informatica *Location : *New York City, NY *Duration : *6 months * Phone/ F2F* *Local candidates only (F2F)* *Must Have Investment Banking Experience* *Top tier investment bank seeks an Informatica Specialist for the following* : The specific focus of the role is on messaging and middleware technologies, providing standard solutions for different technical requirements for all regions and departments of the firm. The solutions will include all aspects of engineering, repeatable high quality builds for both commodity messaging platforms and those tailored for low latency uses. It requires close interaction with TS (suppliers of the infrastructure) , vendors (to determine future directions), the development community, central architecture, other parts of the IB Engineering Services and the Messaging Operations team (product acceptance and 3rd level support). The consultancy element of the role will require providing guidance to business applications regarding their messaging requirements, at both a design and implementation level. *Skills required: *middleware *implementation *level 3 support (not a pure support role) *financial services industry background* - 5+ years' experience with messaging oriented middleware products which should include experience working with either Informatica Ultra Messaging or Solace Systems Message Routers. - Experience with *IBM Wepsphere MQ, Tibco EMS or AMQP* are also highly advantageous. - Broad knowledge of the technical solutions available in the messaging domain, and messaging paradigms for both standard and low-latency implementations. - The group is also responsible for engineering and supporting transformation and content based router software, hence familiarity and experience with one of the popular implementations (for example IBM MessageBroker, MuleSoft or RedHat FUSE) are highly advantageous. - To support the engineering build the candidate will have knowledge of hardware configurations, Systems and Software architecture, software design.
