*Position : *C# Front Office *Location : *New York City, NY *Duration : *6 months * Phone/ F2F* *Local candidates only (F2F)* *Must Have Investment Banking Experience* *Must Have **Experience with Bloomberg TOMS.* The Front Office Credit Trading IT team supports the Global Credit Trading team which is a leading market maker in public debt across the credit spectrum, including high grade, high yield and distressed debt. This team is seeking a NY-based Developer role to support the growing and changing Bond trading landscape. The Front Office server side Developer will interface with the Business team while also collaborating with the IT team to deliver prioritized deliverables and ensuring a stable production environment is provided. Responsible for delivering prioritized deliverables (both enhancements and maintenance items) as per the book of work which currently includes 50+ items Provide technical expertise and drive best practices by planning and conducting code reviews, and incorporating lessons into work practices Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across multiple business areas and delivery groups Clearly communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders across multiple regions Plan and conduct successful unit, performance, system, integration and acceptance testing, ensuring applications are able to meet stringent functional and non-functional requirements Provide a stable and robust production environment and support related production incidents (working in partnership with PTG) 5+ years of experience in C# / .Net application development and finance industry preferred Must be a .Net developer credit bond trading expert Proven experience on large projects, large systems, with large throughput, high performance. Demonstrate a structured and transparent approach to managing multiple priorities Good professional software development experience across entire software development lifecycle within source controlled development environments using multiple delivery methodologies Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design and drive strategic solutions Team player, able to foster positive and effective working relationships with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders Strong .Net skillset (C#, UI and data libraries). Strong understanding of messaging systems. Strong understanding of integration between different systems. Strong understanding of windows services, web services. Good understanding of database (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase) Good understanding of financial systems, esp. FO trading system.
