It's probably a bug in Crystal Reports, it also has a few with fonts. Just because it open in Acrobat it doesn't mean it's well formed. Post the PDF somewhere for inspection.

Subject: [iText-questions] Hello! First question
Hello
I have used this API with success to edit some pdf's and add some texts and
a watermark. But now I can't do that with pdf's generated from Crystal
Reports templates with the inet API: com.inet.report.
The error is on the following line: PdfReader reader = new
PdfReader("XPTO.pdf");
Here is the stacktrace:
java.io.IOException: Dictionary key is not a name. at file pointer 65942

Can anyone give me a clue about what is going on and how can I solve this
problem??
Thx
