I was following the steps provided here:
http://www.lowagie.com/iText/ant.html
Under the section "Creating HTML", it says I can build the pages for the site using the target "ant -f site.xml lowagie.com".
That's one of the targets that was written for my own convenience.
C:\itext-dev\www\xml\lowagie\style.css to copy.
style.css wasn't in the old version of the site.
It didn't happen as part of the 'Downloading iText' section.
No, for the moment downloading iText only downloads the source code to build the jar, not the XML to build the site. The XML is in CVS, but as I am still developing all that, I don't promote using this. For instance: I switched using BuildSite with the ANT xslt tag and building the tutorial will not work yet. BTW: could you test ant -f download.xml getFromCvs for me? It should work, but it doesn't (not on my machine) and I don't know why...
I was able to successfully 'compile and jar' iText. Did I miss some step or some step is not documented to create the site pages?
You didn't miss a step, it's a combination of two things: (1) that part is still under development and (2) it's not documented because of (1).
