[iText-questions] Encryption options with iText

I've read (and discovered first-hand) that traditionally, encrypting a PDF is pretty weak in the implementation-side of things.  That is, it's more of a deterrent than a protection, because it can be fairly-easily defeated.   Can someone verify whether the encrypt methods in iText are any different?  Relative strength of the output?   Thanks, AJ
