The attachment is a class file. I don't check class files, only Java files; moreover: this problem occurs when you run code you've written yourself. What about similar code written by others? Have you tried the PdfStamper, PdfReader, PdfCopy examples from the book, the tutorial, or other online resources??? Those have been tested and work for sure. Why not try them? If they execute without any problem, you know you can throw away your own code, and use the working examples as the basis for your new code.
