Here a picture to picture it :).
On the left, the text is wrapped although  the width doesn't allow it
and that there is enough space for writing.
The only difference in the setting is the font.

I'm sorry: I can't picture the problem.
Words are too abstract for me to describe what you mean.
A picture could easily replace a thousand words.
Or even better: two simple PDF samples.
