Hi, I've recently been asked to enhance an existing application that uses iText 1.4.
I see that there is both 1.5.4 version and a 2.0.8 version available now. What are the considerations/implications of choosing to upgrade to either of these versions? For example, is 2.0.8 backwards compatible with 1.4 or would an upgrade to 2.x likely require more code changes than an upgrade to 1.5.4? If there's difference between the 1.x and 2.x API, which does the Manning book describe?
