I didn't see the PDF (maybe the attachment got lost),
but I see the same font and everything renders well.
Leonard is right: the font isn't embedded (the standard
type 1 fonts never are, even if you use BaseFont.EMBEDDED),
but Arial-BoldItalicMT is close enough.
