Gill Sans is not a free font; therefore I can't test if the glyphs are 
actually present in the font program you are using.

I fail to see why this is better explained...

No code sample is included; and without the font, we can't test 
anything. It could be a problem with the font; if you look at 
yesterday's answers, you'll see that a particular font problem was 
caused by the way the code was compiled (using the wrong encoding).

If you want an answer, you'll have to provide something we can work with.
