The PDF is perfect - there is nothing wrong with it. Are you using Reader 9, the latest version? Are you current with your printer drivers? What type of printer is it - Postscript, PCL, HPGL, raster, other?
The problem is on your printing side - it's NOT an iText issue. -----Original Message----- From: dorairaj [mailto:dorai...@clinapps.com] Sent: Monday, March 29, 2010 9:45 AM To: itext-questions@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [iText-questions] Difference between WINANSI and IDENTITY-H encoding types Hi, Thank you for your reply. I have gone through the two models to ensure the pdf printing quality. 1) select adobe pdf while printing the java printer dialog to create the pdf page. http://old.nabble.com/file/p28069506/print-acrobat.pdf print-acrobat.pdf . 2) create pdf page using itext using Identity-H encoding. http://old.nabble.com/file/p28069506/print-itext.pdf print-itext.pdf i observed the print quality diffence in the print-itext.pdf page. and the print-itext.pdf page all fonts are in Identity-H and printing quality is poor where as in print-acrobat.pdf page Microsoft JhengHei font used identity-H and remaing are ANSI and printing quality is good. Note: i am using acrobat reader to print the page. Thanks in advance Dorairaj Leonard Rosenthol-3 wrote: > > You can use Identity-H for Arial and Times as well - but WinANSI is also > fine.
