I've got a bunch of other (simpler!) things I need to get done with iText over the next few weeks, so I'll use those to get more familiar with the APIs before I tackle this in anger in a week or two. Would you be interested in seeing/incorporating the code once it's done? By the way: are there any plans for the book to appear on Safari Online's 'rough cuts' feature?
