Well... now that I think about it: the white paper isn't entirely clear 
about it.
It talks about digital signatures that are stored in a form field and 
that are visualized using widget annotations which implies AcroForm 
technology, but it doesn't say that XFA signatures are excluded. Maybe 
there should be a NOTE or a WARNING somewhere explaining that this isn't 
implemented yet.
