That JavaDoc comment dates back to 2004, i.e. some 0.*.* version and has
been correct until the 5.3.* versions. During these versions of iText the
PdfReader handling of the source data has been unified to rely on the
RandomAccessSourceFactory resulting in the stream being closed now, but the
JavaDocs don't seem to have been updated accordingly.
