There is no need to generate certificate file when run on simulator, only needed when in emulator. See https://developer.tizen.org/dev-guide/2.2.1/org.tizen.gettingstarted/html/dev_env/certificate_generator.htm And set it in IDE’s Preferences.

Thanks for the reply, I have installed the TIZEN IVI SDK 3.0 ALPHA version. Emulator came along with sdk.. I am trying to launch the web apps that came with the sdk namely ghost cluster app. I am able to see it on the web simulator application but not able to run on the emulator. I am not seeing any error messages.
