Hello, after a longer test ( > 2 hours) the ivtv driver began polluting syslog with "stealing buffer" messages. See attached ivtv.log.gz.
System: MSI K8T Neo 2 AMD64 3400+ Hauppauge DVB-C Hauppauge PVR 250 Software: Kernel 2.6.13 (x86_64) ivtv 0.4.0 vdr 1.3.34 pvrinput 0.0.8 PCI list see attached system.hw.gz After about 2 hours the syslog gets filled rapidly with the same messages. Actually i am not sure whether this problem is related to ivtv or a misuse inside the pvrinput plugin for vdr. Is there a way to track down the root cause or maybe someone already got this problem fixed or worked around. What i've done so far: - switch embed vbi off (ivtvctrl -d /dev/videox -x 0) and checked (option -X) - check that no disk gets full Hopefully the attachments are not too big to be posted to this mailing list. Any help is appreciated. regards Petric
