Title: Message

Former drivers did not do the trick...
But compiling and using ivtv 0.4.0 DID...

I am so happy... Thank you all for your help....
Now I will move to a different forum to be able to change my channels in Mythtv (ivtv-tune works perfectly)

is to use the alternate version of the encoding firmware. It is written

in the ivtv docs that it should no matter which one you use (one has

zero padding, and one does not), but why not try...

>Do the following:

mv /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw

/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw.zeropadded

cd your_ivtv_source_tree/util

wget

ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-pvr_250-350/inf/pvr_1.18.21.22254_inf.zip

./ivtvfwextract.pl pvr_1.18.21.22254_inf.zip

cp /lib/modules/ivtv-fw-enc.bin /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw

rm /lib/modules/ivtv-fw-dec.bin /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/v4l-cx2341x-dec.fw

This will give you a enc/dec pair that are exactly the same size (262144

bytes). Please let us know if this works;

I kind of doubt it, but it is worth a shot.
