    You can set the volume with ivtvctl -y volume=<num>

I also just updated the ivtvdriver.org wiki's Troubleshooting
page to mention setting audio volumes in this way for those with
multi-tuner setups who are noticing level mismatches across cards.
(Unfortunately, until MythTV allows setting levels per-card, it'll
keep setting all cards to the same values unless you arrange to step
on its feet somehow; I don't think the original poster mentioned
whether he's using Myth or is using ivtv with something else.)
